Layering Bracelets 101

We all got a sneak peek at the bracelet layering trend last year - hopefully you liked it, because it's coming back this year again, stronger and even more demanding! So, where do you start when layering bracelets?

I like going with the "10 thin" rule. Basically, your layers should be about the width of 10 thin bracelets put together. I typically mix 3 beaded bracelets, 1 friendship/braided bracelets, 3 embellished bracelets, 2 Bhati Beads and 1 accent bracelet. I don't prefer and recommend going with chunky, statement bracelets while layering because usually you want the bracelets to blend together into one, with the exception of the accent piece. I think dainty bracelets definitely create a better look together compared to larger ones; plus, you can also get them at a cheaper price than most chunky ones.

Stores & Boutiques
-H&M. They have an amazing selection of embellished and accent bracelets that most discount stores like Forever21 and Wet Seal don't offer for the same quality.
-J Crew offers more expensive jewelry, but the quality really can't be compared. Accent bracelets are a go-to stop when shopping there!
-Bhati Beads is a company that sells really small, dainty pieces of beaded jewelry. I absolutely love their selection and the style is open to anyone from pastel lovers to neon hearters!
-And if all else fails...Etsy. Handmade items are always guaranteed to be 100% original - you won't find anything else quite similar in department stores. Better yet, they're crafted with love!
